Suad Bektic is an associate with New Day Legal, PLLC. He received his J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law in 2015. At the same time, Suad also received his M.B.A. from Fayetteville State University. Prior to graduate school, Suad received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, where he graduated in 2010.

Prior to joining New Day Legal, PLLC, Suad practiced law and was a successful business professional and entrepreneur in Richmond, VA. His diverse background and experience make him uniquely qualified to address your legal and financial needs. Suad is admitted to practice law in the State of Virginia.

Suad concentrates his practice on Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 bankruptcies. His practice also includes the areas of real estate law and estate planning. Suad has lived in several different countries and speaks German, Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Attorney Scott W. Carpenter practiced bankruptcy, civil litigation, and criminal defense with America Law Group, Inc. for over two years before joining New Day Legal, PLLC. Scott graduated cum laude from Hampton-Sydney College in 2011 with a B.A. in Philosophy, and he received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2014, where he was active as a Law School Ambassador and Pro Bono Board Member. He received numerous academic awards in law school, including Best Oral Argument and several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, which are given to the highest scoring student in each course. His pro bono work included collaboration with organizations such as South Carolina Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Harvest Hope Food Bank.

Scott continues to take pride in serving low-income clients, and he strives to provide quality representation to those who need it most and might not otherwise have access to it.
